I highly recommend this place. had an informative visit to this place as a family. Greet place to start your fossil hunting adventure get information and you get to see the history of the fossils found in the area and they display recent findings too. Also you can buy from there a kit for fossil hunting I bought one for my child. The centre is right next to charmouth beach.

Informative little centre. Has examples of local finds. Also has a cafe and toilets and there is s little fossil shop. It is right on the beach. Large car parks.

Love this place. Right by the shore featuring a cafe, museum, clothes- and fossil shop. Car parking is good, with a large adjacent overspill if the main one is full. There's also a coach park a couple hundred yards away which includes extra car parking. Covid precautions are well catered for in the centre. Plenty of space outside and many picnic tables nearby. Also public toilets. Like all lovely places, it can sometimes be a victim of its own success: there is one road only in and out, so be prepared for holdups if you visit at peak times.

Nice beach with amenities nearby. Gently sloping beach means little ones can safely play in the sea. Great for fossil hunting. Cafe and shops on the beach with parking for 300 cars nearby.
