Visited on a Monday during the eat out to help out. Our roast carvery was very tasty. Great customer service we thoroughly enjoyed our meal

Walked in. Tables fully booked for the evening and would be a 30minute wait but was offered to enjoy the same experience in the pub. Friendly staff although when going to toilet noticed around 40% of the tables were empty throughout the time we were there. We could of eaten our food and left before they were required. We had a carvery each, the meat portions were skimpy compared to the last time we visited in 2015. The yorkshires didn't have much flavour to them and the roast potatoes weren't great. The gravy was nice. The refillable Pepsi machine tasted very watery so had to get refills from the bar which was time consuming as the regulars kept ordering pints. Used the baby change before leaving, it was in the disable toilet. We didn't use it due to the cleanliness in there. Sunday is a busy day for them so I assume they were probably having an off day. May try again in 10 years time as drove 40 minutes to get there as it is the nearest toby carvery since the majority of them have closed down now.

Really dissapointed on our visit 2 wks ago .The food was just warm and very bland. It was the first visit since Covid initial lockdown and the quality of food was a huge difference. The same view was given by 2 other posts on facebook this week . The staff were very friendly though and had this not been the case We would have complained . Will not be going back again . It's a real shame as used to enjoy the food .

Usual Toby experience these days. Beef was a bit gristly and tough, but turkey very nice. Lovely pudding.

Nice food, really generous portions considering you cannot use the utensils yourself to serve. Nice meal and nice staff created a quick, lovely meal with no hassle.
