We booked an Axe Throwing lesson as a family of 7 and all thoroughly enjoyed it! The lesson was nicely structured between Rachel teaching the technique and then some time to have a go and practice. Felt safe at all times, Rachel was very clear on all the health and safety aspects at the beginning. The lesson was flexible so that both the nervous and the adventurous members of the group got something out of it. Definitely recommended.

A fantastic place for an outdoors party. Kicked off around a camp fire followed by shelter building and fire starting. The meal consisted of bugs and grubs washed down with chocolate biscuits and squash. A great time had by all our little adventurers.

Excellent place to visit - we went for a Bushcraft outdoors training session which involved learning how to make a shelter and start fires! This was so excellent we booked in again for an axe throwing and archery session. It’s a great afternoon out and so close to Cardiff! Steph is fantastic with all ages and we really enjoyed the sessions. Thanks a lot!!

My 10yo son and I went axe throwing with his friend and mum. We all joined in with the throwing and had a really great time. Rachel was running the activity and ensured we were all aware of the covid safety measures as well as the usual H&S. She was great with the kids, and very knowledgeable on the activity. We really enjoyed ourselves and look forward to going back to try out something else!

Amazing morning for a party of 8-9 year olds... the excitement of this beautiful forest in the middle of nowhere offered a sense of freedom whilst being occupied by structured safe, interesting activities - den building, fire lighting (don’t worry, all very safe!) and toasting marshmallows. The 1.5 hours flew past and the kids had so much fun. There were tears at the end from one child who just didn’t want to leave!! Thoroughly recommended. My daughter says she wants the same again for her 10th birthday party so looks like we’ll be back next year! Thank you Bushcraft Steph and Rachel! x
