Being a local it's great to have such a good Chippy on your doorstep. Staff friendly & enjoy the banter with Dave - the impoverished owner :-). Most importanly nice fish & chips.

Had fish and chips 3 times from.this place, the first time the chips were over cooked however I have them the benefit of the doubt, the second occasion the chips were slightly better however the haddock which was cooked to order was dry and tastless, Last Friday we ordered Haddock and chips twice and a small fish and chips. It was all cooked fresh, however they were absolutely as greasy as he'll. The inconsistency of this shop is unbelievable. I don't normally write negative reviews, however on this occasion is the exception. We certainly won't be using it again or recommending. I hope they can get their act together for the future
