I have been going there in times of covid ,and their covid screening is very good. I have seen couple of consultants over their some are very good and some are not that good. Not sure where I can leave individual reviews of the doctors. I have seen mostly private patients there.

My wife attended this hospital a week ago for an operation to correct the discs in her spine that was causing her sciatica. Everyone involved including her consultant and all the aftercare staff were exceptionally efficient and kind. I would definitely recommend this excellent hospital to anybody

I accidently went to Hartswood for a Covid test when my appointment was at Roding. The most kind and caring nurse at reception Kirsty Lester made sure I was seen to and tested there. She even made a new appointment for me there in the instant for me to be tested. Spire Hartwood Hospital Kirsty absolutely saved my day from being a disaster Thank you so much! I will now be able to do my surgery in the next few days. All the best,

Having telephone options that screens patients based on how they intend to pay for their treatment sent alarm bells ringing(self pay,insurance or NHS) especially as I was a NHS referral. I received my appointment information by telephone weeks prior and was told I would be contacted directly by the Hartwood from henceforth. At six days before my operation is scheduled I haven't been contacted at all, I leave numerous messages that are never returned, after eventually going back to the Breast Clinic I am finally contacted by the Hartwood.I have a pre assessment booked for the day after. Nurse at pre assessment was meh, not friendly but not overly rude either just enough to make you question yourself , like a lot of people that first blood pressure reading at the doctors is always iffy I tried to explain that to her but she just kept on about how the procedure may have to be cancelled based on that first reading which only added to my anxiety. The day of my surgery is what actually redeemed this place for me completely. Security directed us to the green zone, friendly intake staff took me upstairs and handed me over to Nurse Debbie who was superb the right dose of personable and professional. Met the anaesthetist and my consultant before surgery, which went well and afterwards I was back in Nurse Debbie's capable hands. The facilities were excellent and dependent on the people you meet your stay here could be a hit or a miss I suppose, thankfully mine was a hit at no time was it brought to mind that I was an NHS referral and probably not the usual clientele. I deducted a star as communication was shoddy and nurse grumpy didn't help either.

I had circumcisions here and was well looked after, attention was straight away would talk to me and listen cared for me whilst I was on my own, a nurse named Amira looked after me after my surgery and she was so nice comforting to talk to and had a laugh with her and all the other staff, doctors, nurses that looked after me a very nice experience I had here and had my own room with TV shower very nice hospital
