Anytime my wife and I come to Chapel Hill we always eat at Breadman's. It was in a new location since the last time here. The food and staff, still top notch and A. The new restaurant was clean and well lit. But, the thing that the old location had was a homey feel and tons of character. You could feel the history and nostalgia as you walked in. The new location has lost that and it was a little sad. We could not find out why they moved. We drove by the old location and the whole building is gone.

For people interested in eating here its truly a great restaurant. I went in a few days ago at around noon and the vibe here is unmatched as well as the food. The one thing I will say is that there is one waitress who's name is Yesenia. She is awful. She is probably the worst waitress I have ever had. She acts like the world revolves around her. Her attitude is god awful. And I honestly think that if Breadmans got rid of her, it would be the perfect restaurant.

Delicious classic American diner food with low prices, nice service, and good quality. Their fried chicken, pancakes, banana pudding, and meatloaf are my favorites .

5 STARS INDEED because the food at this location on Elliot Rd was AWESOME! I actually have been twice in one weekThe steak and cheese with home fries covered in onions and shredded cheddar cheese was very tasty! The second visit was the SCRUMPTIOUS FRENCH TOAST! Check them out you won’t be disappointed!

Fun, old school joint with cheap food and beer pitched at the young at heart. Had some amazing fried okra, which is a sign of good health for what they do. If you want a solid plate of BBQ, breakfast for dinner, and a local booster atmosphere aimed at college town pride, look no further. A classic. Hoping there’s a choice of an IPA next time though ;)
