Really good fresh food. Menu made so easy to choose from. Massive portions, the special for that day was brisket. Absolutely amazing taste and full of flavour. 2 main meals with sides of wedges a beer and a coke 38.

Small hip sandwich shop with lots of good options. They have poutine too which is really surprising. Service was friendly and the food came out quick enough. Ordered the Honey Soy Chicken. Skin was crisp and flavorful; meat was juicy. Bread freshly toasted. Would recommend.
We've eaten here a few times and the service is always excellent and food is fresh, tasty and very reasonably priced. They keep things fresh with regular Specials too. In these 'Covid' times, they've made some important changes. The interior of the restaurant is properly spaced with tall perspex screens between most tables as required. There's also a side access ordering point and they've got an arrangement with St Benet's church opposite, for customers to use their garden for those who wish to dine in the open air. Its a truly wonderful hidden space (away from street bustle) and food is brought to you to enjoy. Bread & Meat is a fantastic restaurant with an adaptable, interesting menu. They're obviously trying hard - please support them. Thank you.
No pretentiousness. Great meat, the poutines are a must. Pork or beef same result - delicious. well priced, perfect for a quick lunch time bite. Don't book a cholesterol test within a least a week....
That Philly cheese sandwich with poutine is amazing. Also their festive sandwich which had to be the best Christmas sandwich I’ve had. Top food and service. They also had delicious mulled wine.
