It took us a while to find the place since we couldn’t see its name from behind all the outdoor umbrellas, but there’s a menu out front (so don’t be like us). The staff was super friendly, the service was pretty fast as well, and the food was warm, tasty and felt fresh. I really liked their cappuccino :) In terms of covid safety, the tables were pretty far apart, and even though there were plastic walls around us you could still feel the fresh cold air. There were sanitisers out front & gas heaters right next to our table ️

Good food, at medium prices for Romanian people, not to many culinary options.

Amazing food, amazing friendly service and very covid-safe. I think I was the only tourist in all of Brasov that day :) special thanks to Daniel who was very welcoming. Must try their icre and the the local potato bread.

I had the polenta with sausages which tasted good but in my personal opinion had a lot of oil (maybe from the fat of the sausages) and was a little too salty, I recommend you get the pickles with it. The food came out fast which means it might be precooked. The server was really friendly and took great care of us and was willing to explain what the dishes are made from.

Very good choice of soups (especially the beans soup in bread), great tuica and palinca options right in the center of Brasov in Piata Sfatului. What I think can be improved is in terms of second courses - the mititei were good but the chips quite tasteless and they came cold, also the beef pie was rather flavourless. The place tries to respect regulations regarding corona, however as it’s one of those plastic wrapped terraces, when people start smoking it becomes quite unpleasant and I think unsafe corona wise. Also it is too crowded when all tables are full.

Nice restaurant in the main square of Brașov in the city centre, offers a good selection of typical cousine. We tried ciorba (soup), sarmale (in photo: cabbage rolls filled with meat) and the typical Romanian pastry called papanași (second photo). All of this tasted really great and well prepared, it felt like eating typical local food skillfully cooked. The place was cozy and clean, the personnel kind and patient, and prices are on average and perfectly proportioned to the quality/quantity of the food: I would definitely recommend this place to all the tourists in Brașov, and to whoever wants to taste the local cousine.
