Braunston Marina offers one of the widest range of marina services available on inland waterways, including 250 fully serviced moorings. The entrance to the marina is dominated by the Horseley Iron Works cast iron bridge dating from 1834, erected by Thomas Telford. Braunston Marina is steeped in history and was originally developed at the turn of the 19th century as the waterways depot at the northern end of the Grand Junction Canal.

Lovely place for a winter walk. Beautiful boats and a lovely view of the village up on the hill above the handsome bridges. Take your wellies if going along the tow path, bit muddy
Lovely helpful people! We bought our boat here last year and have visited twice while out on our travels.
Lovely stay on the Caravan site. Super walks using maps provided by the shop. The cafe is open from 9am for amazing breakfasts. Home made cakes later in the day a real treat too. Everybody friendly and helpful. We shall return
Sadly our (previously positive) experiencs with them have been tainted when we sold through them and they decided to do extra work that they charged us for, even though we put in writing that we would rather lose the sale than pay for extra work at this point (but would revisit if it came up again in the future.) Graham and Victoria were friendly, professional, and really lovely to work with, but unfortunately the manager made a decision to do the work, and didn't tell us until they gave us the sale money \minus cost of work\ through a letter in the post. I questioned it by email, but he refused to give us the rest of the money, and then stopped responding. I hate to leave a negative review of such an otherwise pleasant place for visits, walks and boat fairs. But I would just be careful if selling through them, as putting something in writing is not enough to ensure you get the full amount of your money! Really disappointing .
