Heard the history and glad to see it still going. It has a nice traditional feel and lovely staff. But doesn't have a wide range or the the high end feel I always hear it used to have. Some of the decor is a little worn and tired...especially the cafe unfortunately. I really want to support this independent local retailer so visit most times I go into Northwich. But I don't know how they'll survive if/when other retailers move to the area. I, like many, am happy to pay a little more for quality that lasts. This would be their strongest selling point. Hope they don't change to try to compete on being the cheapest; selling the usual low quality fast fashion.
Staff are very friendly and helpful great bargains to be had in this store.

Mostly in store concessions nowadays so not quite the traditional family department store anymore. Nevertheless a good cross section of goods for sale and a nice cafe. Very helpful and friendly staff.
