People often only rate a place when they've either had an amazing experience or not so great experience. Since I've had a consistently lovely experience I thought I'd add my thoughts here - mainly letting you all know my go-to dishes below. If you don't know what to try - try any of the below. I normally have a slip of paper in my menu drawer that contains the dishes' numbers because it's easier for the lady on the phone but I'm too lazy to get off my sofa right now. Salt & chilli chips or ribs (dry) mini-spring rolls BBQ spare ribs Curry sauce on ANYTHING - I love their curry sauce, I sometimes just order extra curry sauce to throw over rice, chips or whatever. Since we moved up this way in March we have always gone to a Chinese takeaway further in to town which we've been very happy with. Alas because it's closed on Monday's we had to go elsewhere and decided to try this place in Branston which happens to be our local one, big mistake. We bought 3 dishes....sweet & sour chicken chicken 'Cantonese style', beef chow mein and mushroom chow mein. The chicken was tough as old boots to the point of it being so hard and stringy it was indigestible, just check my attached pic. Both the chow meins were bland as hell and had to be drenched in soy sauce to get some sort of flavour. Must be said that the beef was also rather tough and chewy but nowhere near as bad as the chicken to be fair. The lady behind the counter was very friendly throughout and most embarrassed not to mention extremely apologetic when I had to pull her for not giving me me the fiver change due having given her 20.10 when I initially made the order. For the just mentioned reason alone I'll give them two stars rather than one but the grub was horrible, gives me no pleasure putting the boot in but I'm sorry all three of us in the household hated it so we won't ever be going there again.
Onion rings to die for and the hot sour soup is delish. All the other food is good too.

Absolutely lovely food. Placed our order at 5 was ready right on time at 5.45. Great service would deffo recommend to others.
