Lovely cosey cafe to take coffee and cake or something more substantial if you'd like. Cakes to take out. Fantastic view of lake windermere.
Called in for a coffee. Left having had a coffee experience! The owner genuinely interested to make sure we had what we wanted, which was a decent, strong black coffee! We got it!! Can recommend and will definitely be returning. Thank you
Its only small but the food is excellent quality and excellent value. Popped in as we saw the 5 star food hygiene sticker in the window. The staff are helpful and friendly, they offer a good choice of food and our vegetarian daughter had a good choice. The soup and sandwich is an excellent deal as the soup is home made and very tasty. When we are in the area again it will be our first choice. Its the little touches, the books, toys for the children and the warm welcome etc that make it extra special.
Absolutely delightful service and incredibly delicious food... on top of this their meal deal beats any other! We stopped in Windermere for some picnic supplies and were greeted with a warm welcome by the very nice lady... We wanted two baguettes to which they baked there and then and was absolutely delicious! The Rocky Road was out of this world! Such big portions too... Don’t usually review restaurants or cafes but this was wonderful We wish them all the good fortune in their business
