I was charged 305 an overcharged 100 by John Boatwright ( proprioter and owner of Sunnyfields) when I took my dog for cremation on 23/12/2020. When I checked the prices on their website when I got home I had a dog 20 kgs-45 kgs in woven pouch which is 205. When I collected my dogs ashes on 31/12/2020. I asked John about the overcharge as I thought it was a genuine mistake and he told me dead weight, that my dog weighed 46.8 kgs when he was cremated. My dog weighed less than 40 kgs which I have proof of through my vet and a specialist vet. It is complete nonsense that my dog gained 7 kgs through dying. I e-mailed Sunnyfields on 02/01/2020 about the overcharge explaining and offering proof of my dogs weight and have not even had a reply!! I would not recommend this company to any one, to overcharge and lie to someone that has just lost a beloved pet is not some one that cares about pets or their owners just their profit. I was contacted by the joint owner of Sunnyfields Paula Townsend. Who assured me she hadn’t seen my e-mail. She has apologised and has refunded me the 100 overcharge by John Boatwright. I have dealt with Paula previously and have always found her to be very professional and caring. Thank you Paula.

I would Not recommend this company. At first they seemed ok but a week later my cat's urn didn't arrive on time, I had to wait for another week!!! It was suggested that they would bring the ashes in one of them boxes then the ashes would be transferred a week later at my place. I didn't agree because I didn't want my 17 1/2 year old cat's ashes messed about. And guess what?? They got the wrong order and brought her ashes in a massive urn. a 4 kg cat in a bigger urn than my 35 kg dog??? Had to wait another week for the right size urn and yes what I didn't want to happen happened in my place ashes all over my table from transferring the ashes from the massive urn to the smaller one. I found it very disrespectful and offensive as per their presentation in a bag with the petals was extremely distasteful. I would never use their service again or recommend them. That was another admin error?

Personally I wouldn't give them even one star after what they did to my friend, who lost her beloved cat in awful circumstances, she explained that she was unable to pay the full amount in one payment, so arranged to pay in instalments, she paid some money on collection of her pet, then sent a cheque for the next instalment, she asked john numerous times if she could have receipt for her payments so far, but never received one, when she tried to ask again john was quite abrupt and unkind to her, she tried calling at different times but it was always john who answered, so she stopped the payments in the hope of getting a call from someone other than john as she is a timid type of person, but nobody called, she became quite depressed about the nasty things john had said, then after getting the courage to ask someone to help her , the person rang this company and after getting the runaround from john despite them giving the ref number for said pet, eventually john heartlessly announced in a blunt and uncaring attitude that he had in fact thrown her pets ashes in the rubbish. My friend is understandably devastated and in pieces about the whole thing making her quite ill and severely depressed. I wouldn't use this company if they were the only pet crematorium in the UK, the only reason they have got a glowing review on their site is because they delete any really bad reviews like they did with mine , they should be ashamed of themselves at least they can't control Google reviews. Actually Paula I'm not a competitor, nor am I lying about anything in my statement above and you know it's the truth, I was at her home and witnessed one of the calls, I was also with her when she got a call from her friend telling her that he had been told that her cats ashes had been thrown away by John because she hadn't paid a penny for the cremation when she had made 2 payments.
