My 14 year old dog was in a very distressed state and his back legs then collapsed and I knew it was his time to say good bye. Although I had not used this vets before i rang them and the receptionist said they are fully booked but hold on will ask the vet. Came back and said bring him in 2 hours time and the vet will fit him in. i found the receptionist very helpful and the vet and nurse was so caring, kind , professional and I was so glad it was them helping him to end is life. they was all lovely to him .I had never been to them before but when I went to pay the vet said phone it in later as they could see I was very upset. I would recommend these to anyone.

We've just moved to the area, we were previously spoilt by our last Vet who looked after our four Japanese Akita dogs so well that he soon became our personal friend (especially after saving Foxy's life following a snake bite). Black Notley Vets have managed to somewhat fill this void with the personal service and care we have been way too spoilt to expect. Thank you for looking after our pets and taking the time to explain exactly what your initial diagnosis is, what the options are and providing us with a list of options for us to then decide which route to take forward. That is what we call, excellent customer service.
Easy to get an appointment. Staff are approachable and Friendly. Pip was happy and relaxed with the staff. Vet gave information about other products that would be good for pip and he had his claws clipped while he was there. Appointment went very smoothly in these difficult times with covid pandemic
Very thorough and understanding. Took time to answer all my questions and have total trust in them. Efficient and smooth appointment during these tough and strange times. Would thoroughly recommend.
It’s a shame as a decent vets practice but the receptionist is very rude and pompous. I have been many times and spent a lot of money with them on various pets but I will now find another practice because of her. They have good guidance re COVID but they need to train the receptionist in manners!
