Today visited with hubby, it was extremely dangerous underfoot with icy conditions. We are both in our 70 s and I am awaiting an operation for a knee replacement. To be told by a jumped up jobsworth on the door that it was only one per family allowed into the shop (it was totally empty when I got in) and to be told I had to go round the other entrance to get in (totally dangerous icy conditions underfoot) when no one was waiting at any entrance. With hindsight we wish we had said we were lovers and that we didn't live together. Would have made jobsworth feel very embarrassed! We always obey rules, and understand the need for putting measures in place but feel this was an unnecessary jobsworth dictatorial attitude. It costs nothing to be kind in life and goes a long way on a cold icy January morning when there is not a soul about.

Good alternative to Sainsbury's if there's big queues there. Aisles are narrow, so you need to observe the one-way system. Easy, nearby parking.
Nice farm shop with plenty of easy parking and in an easy to find location. They are being very proactive with enforcing the coronavirus rules (which is brilliant). Great, top notch, produce, but also at top notch prices, so don't expect any bargains. But if you want the best ingredients then you can find them here.
