While the Bradbury Building is shut off to the public due to COVID, it is a hidden gem in downtown Los Angeles and should not be missed by the tourist or longtime resident alike. On the outside, it looks like an ordinary building - although the inside tells a different story. Wooden staircases, cast iron elevators and a ceiling of glass, this building has been home to several films throughout Hollywood’s history. Even though you’re not allowed to go past some of the staircases, all you must do is look up and see the Bradbury’s beauty.

This place has a special energy... more than 100 years, it has amazed people with a whimsical architecture of man’s creation. Come there and listen to a gorgeous symphony of glazed brick, gorgeous marble, ornamental cast iron, and polished wood. Enjoy the beauty!

The Broadway landmark is beautiful and atmospheric, but maybe the the most fascinating thing about it is the people who have been associated with it since 1893. A number of them have gone the extra mile to ensure the Bradbury survives and thrives for future generations, and it gives us hope to explore these stories of hard work, love and faith.
