I rarely write a review, however, my visit to the Chelmsford branch today, was made all the better from some super help from the team. John (who had a silver length of hair, even I was envious of) and Dave, who cut down a huge sheet of MDF for me to precise specifications. You’ve a winning team who go above and beyond. Happy to help, friendly and knowledgeable. Thanks gents!

Nice big store, always manage to find what I'm looking for. Trade Point staff are always helpful, but like all B&Q's, you're either straight to a cashier or waiting in a ridiculously long que to pay. Timber cutting facility has come in handy no end of times though.
Very clean helpful staff
We went to b and q to buy a shower enclosure. It was marked down because of damage which was perfect for us as we just purchased our first house. It was 180-120 in the clearance section with a clearance label. When we got the the till the lady was a manager and refused to sell it to use at that price and blamed her staff for not clearance it correctly, even thought there was loads of others reduced within that section. She embarrassed us and told us we shouldn't have expected that we got that much off it. We should have known better. Even other staff member felt bad and comforted us. We paid full price thought the embarrassing situation and the line of customers waiting. I am appalled!!! Legally you can't price things us and not sell it to us. Its not our fault!!! I hope someone can help with this
It's ok but only 2 tills ever open when visiting during lockdown 3 which causes queues unlws visiting late afternoon or evenings. Also quite a few empty shelf slots in the elecrrical.and lighting areas so unable to buy all items nèdwd and may have to return a number of others as out of stock items are not available at other branches checking online website... Overall disappointing.
