This restaurant is the place to go if you want quality seafood at an affordable price. We were treated with hospitality the second we walked through the door. Hot fresh hush puppies were served to us within minutes that were the perfect soft but crispy texture. The seafood was prepared and served in a timely manner and was cooked just right. All of the wait staff was attentive to our needs and went above and beyond. Bowmans will definitely be a visit we make every time we go to visit Carolina Beach!

This place is the definition of southern home cooking and seafood! My fiancé loves their hamburger steak and my dad loves the seafood my personal favorite has to be their fried chicken sandwiches or their bbq sandwiches with a side of a baked potatoes or salad are delish and my go to order! The staff were very friendly and they maintained a pretty clean environment! They were fast with their service and all of our food turned out wonderful! We’re so happy to see them open again!
This is a great seafood restaurant in Carolina Beach. This place has been here for many years but still impresses me every time I eat here. They have a great ambiance and a very clean restaurant. The food is always great and is reasonably priced. I spoke with the owner a few months ago and he told me they get fresh seafood from the docks every few days. Most restaurants are buying from a major wholesaler while this place is purchasing fresh. The taste and quality of the food shows it as well. They have a very diverse menu mostly geared toward seafood but they have other offerings such as a massive chopped steak that could easily feed 2 people. The servers are always friendly. This is an easy 5 star review, wish I could give them more. Please give them a try and you will not be disappointed!
This place ignores the state mandate on COVID safety precautions. They are happy to argue with you if you are brave enough to ask why. They obviously don't care about the health and safety of their customers and instead are more passionate about political drama. The food is tasteless and greasy. I really made an attempt to find something I liked about this restaurant but I was disappointed. I highly recommend avoiding this restaurant and I plead that high-risk customers stay as far as possible from here.
