Super lovely psychologists and really effective course. Due to the limited resources of our wonderful NHS, dont expect tailored or bespoke care, but the tools they give you are ones that if you put in enough, you will get the same out! If you're really committed it is definitely worth your while considering that its free and confidential! Completely changed my outlook on life.

I was with them for a few months. Didn't feel like they cared at all. Every time I walked in there I had to fill out a survey about how my moods had been changing. She didn't want to know why I was experiencing what I was experiencing at the time. All they were doing was give me stuff to read and how to deal with negative emotions. It was basically like a self-help book that I could have bought online, and not wasted my time with people there that did not care in the slightest. I study psychology myself and I know that is not how you treat someone with problems like I had. It felt like they had to do what they were doing rather than they wanted to help. After a few months they called me saying my sessions are over which I had like 4-5 of them because they thought that was enough for me. Never felt this small in my life before.

Turned my life around completely. If you take time and reflect on the lessons they teach you here, your life will improve tenfold. I learned a lot of new things about myself here and would recommend it to anybody. I was completely out of touch with reality after a horrendous few years and now know where my life is going again.

CBT as a technique works for many people, but it's not theory (and this needs to be better understood by inductees); it is a process to be followed... And it takes time and self discipline. As such it can leave you a bit cold when you feel yourself being processed and a down tick in your survey scores is really the only thing that matters . How it is delivered matters and my experience wasn't great. But 1* is harsh.

Definitely helped. When reading the 1 star reviews, please remember the people reviewing are suffering from mental health issues. I've given 4 rather than 5 stars due to the incredible temperature in the building. 19.5c is generally considered \ideal\ for people to relax and focus, the 30c temperature is like visiting a nursing home.
