My friends and I visited the bar last weekend and we did not have a good experience at all! This is nothing to do with the staff serving us, they were lovely and friendly as usual, nice drinks, good music etc. However, due to the Covid-19 restrictions, we weren't allowed to move if one wanted to dance even if you stand up and dance from your designated seating area. What is the point of clubs being open and having a DJ if people can't dance? we understand the point of not using the dance floor but telling people not to enjoy the music from their seats just does not make sense. I would have gone to other bars/pub and have a drink there if I knew this is what is going on at the Bar. I think you just need to use common sense. If this is the case of all the times/current, I will not return to the bar and will tell my friends not to visit I'm afraid. You could as well just have classic music on which i would personally enjoy and not feel the need to dance.

Lovely staff and dog friendly and decent prices for lunch, clean inside and outside area and the food was delicious will definitely come back again x
Spent a good few hours in here friday and saturday. Spent a fortune between us. Sitting in the front bar the doorman came over and shouted at us to sit down or get out. Erm we all had been sitting down for hrs So we left. No need. Complete arrogance. You're doorman for a bar not a militant for the SAS!!
