Boucherie West Village

I had the Boucherie burger and it was great! My fries got the mignon steak and he loved it. Steaks are amazing here. The ambiance was on point! Very cozy and welcoming. Waiters and waitresses were very helpful and kind. Nice place to take your DATE with you! Cheers.

Great atmosphere. There for outdoor dining during a snowstorm but still very comfortable. Services are great. Steak is very well made, flavorful and tender if you order medium.

What a lovely meal! I went on a recommendation from a friend as I was visiting NYC for the weekend. The meal was delicious; my picky 13 year old loved her Boucherie burger, the grilled octopus- yummy!, and my mussels were on point. Fries were to die for! And most of all - the ambiance. During this pandemic, we were hard pressed on finding a restaurant with a heated enclosure and this restaurant checked all the checkboxes! Heated, romantic, cozy and beautiful!

This place was absolutely amazing, came here for my birthday and our waiter Akin was just the best. Made it a special night and the New York strip was delicious, flavorful, and tender. Can't wait to come here again! Food was good and plentiful but felt rushed to get us out. highly recommend this place

Recently been thinking about my the best steak frites I’ve had from Balthazar, but unfortunately they’re closed during COVID-19. I rode past this one day and had marked it down because of the aesthetics, but once I took a look at the menu, I had to check it out. The service was great, we were running late and they moved our reservation out without any problems. Our server was insistent about finding us a bottle of wine that resembled our favorite, within an asked price range, and it really matched the flavor palette we were going for. She was great at making sure our glasses were never empty for too long as well, which let’s be honest, is impressive when you’re a server at a busy place. Now the food. Let’s start by saying you will not leave disappointed with whatever you get. We ended up getting the escargot, octopus, steak frites (obviously) and bourguignon. I thought the escargot would be a tad bit more herb-y and flavorful, but still good nonetheless. The octopus is a must if you like seafood, very unique and would never have thought the ingredients in the dish would go well with grilled octopus, but to my surprise it was delicious. The entrees were so flavorful, so tender, so juicy, so frickin good. The steak frites definitely fulfilled by craving. All in all, if you’re thinking about trying this place out, try it out. With the vibe, the service, and the food, you will not be disappointed!
