Note that I don’t give 5 stars easily. We had a Sunday lunch here, so the menu was limited to roast beef or turkey dinner. Service was quick and friendly. The view from this accessible upper level restaurant is quite pleasant.

The smell of fresh-baked bread was a very positive start to our experience... although we could not be seated right away, we thoroughly enjoyed our evening at the Dockside. There was a large wine selection, many gluten free options, and a delicious house-made cheesecake! One suggestion would be to allow customers to wait and have a drink until the staff are ready for them to order, rather than asking them to come back in half an hour. This time, we were able to come to back, however many people would likely not return. Keep your customers and have them enjoy a drink while they wait to place their meal order! Overall, great food, great service!
Great food and service! You even get a nice view of the Atlantic. We ordered the Seafood Chowder, Seafood Crepe, Blackened Salmon, Atlantic Cod and Carrot Soup. All delicious! Homemade desserts were awesome, too! Glad we stopped by for lunch. The owner, Jim is also super nice and accommodating. He gave us tips on what to see and visit while we're here in Newfoundland and where to get some lobster.
