We ordered from the Take out menu for a date night experience. We ordered 2 portions of the Black Pudding Scotch Egg which was delicious, with a runny yolk which was perfect. For the main course we had the 10 hour Braised Beef Cheek. Again the food was cooked beautiful, with a deep red wine reduction with a good selection of vegetables cooked in a lovely maple syrup. An added bonus of the meal was it was delivered on time, with clear instructions on how to reheat plate to perfection. The meal was complemented with a bottle of Primitivo. Will definitely be ordering again, cannot fault the quality and service provided. Great value for the money. Again thanks to all the staff involved.

Extremely nice food. I ordered steak. Plenty of flavour and great textures. I had a \hop house\ craft beer which had a nice fruity aftertaste. The lady that served us was excellent. Wanted to pay separately, as we all had to claim independently from our company, but this was not easily achieved (waiter). We have booked a table to eat there again next week. I highly recommend this place. A little bit pricey but worth it if you appreciate quality food. Since the steak is quite thick I recommend that you to choose medium rare. 5 stars for food. Lost a star because of the issue highlighted above. Update 26 June. Ate here again and food was still great. Service was better and the lady separated out our bill properly. I rate this sitting at 5 stars so will restore the lost star.

This might be the best restaurant in town. Cosy place, very friendly and helpful staff. We popped in twice over the weekend that we stayed in Chesterfield. The first time was for a drink and a snack. They had a good selection of gin and tonic, and their olive tonicvermouth cocktail was nice and refreshing. They also had great chips. We also went in for breakfast. I had the baconegg cob, and my wife had avocadopoached egg. They easily accommodated her gluten free/fairy free needs. They also have good coffee, including good decaf. We wanted to go back for dinner, but they were full up. We will definitely go back next time we're in town.

Fab service at this trendy place in town. It still has the safe from when it must have been a bank. The sweet potato fries are to die for! The best we’ve ever had. Sandwiches are made with fresh ingredients but just a little bland and the menu itself isn’t as inventive as other cafes in Chesterfield otherwise it would be 5 stars .
