Nice food. Good people. I can see they have recently refurbished inside, so I look forward to visiting again with my partner who introduced me to the Turkish Ottoman Empire cuisine. Beautifully generous with meze and sides.

The food was fine. Like other Turkish restaurants you get some bread and 2 dips(may be called something else) with it. I have recently been to another Turkish restaurant which is literally 1 min walk from here, Istanbul and there they served bread with those 2 dips and humour as well. And all three were good portion size. Bosphorus, lesson to learn. We went there at around 6, waited over 45 mins due to eat out to help out scheme. The menu looked good until we learned pide was unavailable ( not a single kind was available). From the mains we asked for Beyti that was also unavailable, then something else and that too was unavailable. Got 3 hot starters(against cold). They were really small portions. Got 3 small samosas kind thing for 4, got 3 small spring roll kind stuff for 5 and got falafel which was 4 small for 4. Mains, we went for Ali Nazik which came with the smallest portion of rice you can think of. The rice was lumpy and just not appetising at all. Got the other main which came with bread pieces in it. Now I am not used to of Turkish taste or perhaps the food was not tasty but I didnt find it too appealing/tasty. It was too bland for me. Attaching pictures of rice and the Ali Nazik.
Stopped at this gem of a place on way back from Sherwood Forest amazing and tastefull food on par with best Turkish places in Midlands/london
Wonderful time here, great staff and service. Food was amazing from the starters to the mains and the dessert was the highlight of the night! I would love to go again if I could it was my partner's birthday and we had a blast. The price was bit steep however I would forgive them for that based on the look and feel of the place plus the excellent service by the staff.
