Seems everyone had a nice time. I didn't stay here. Just came for a off-road car. The story starts a day before when I called ahead and asked for a car. They said yes. Cool. Next day. There are 2 locations on the website. One is in Borșa, quite central and the other a few km away. I went to the first one. Wrong one. Called again, because on waze the other address is non existent. They said no problem, I will message you the address. OK. Tried Google maps, it was there. Went there but at one point as you turn right the road gets ridiculous, I had to stop in the middle of the road, and walk there. If I could reach their location I would already have a 4*4. It was horrible. HORRIBLE. I spend 30 minute trying to get my car out of there, my breaks and my car took a beating. Arrived on foot to the site (beware of local dogs) and they said they CAN'T GIVE ME A CAR. THE ONLY ONE THEY HAVE IS NOT AVAILABLE EVEN THOUGH I CALLED TWO TIMES AHEAD. I had to return and drive away. It was the worst experience here ever. Probably there are other renters here, I will try someplace else but they are the only one that have a website so it tried them first . If I could I would give them 0 stars I would.

We stayed here yesterday with three 4x4. Very nice welcome from the owner who speaks German, Dutch and English. You get an awesome view, clean toilets and a nice site for 4-5 cars with the possibility to make a fire. Also wifi is available and the owner helped us with a grease gun and fixing a flat tyre. Highly recommend!

Welcoming, knowing and friendly stuff. Will help with all the necessary adventure planning in advance or on the spot will suggest great routes or sightseeings (looking forward to ride the local trails in future). Exceptional view from camping grounds and overall vibe of the place. Surprise was the road up the hill, which is first challenge to bear, but c'mon, you're on adventure and probably aren't driving family minivan, though there are pictures around with v70 on the grounds, and I pay my respect to that driver. :)

Best place for ADV
Small cosy camping with very clean and well maintained facilities with focus on off road travels. What makes it better than others, except the friendly owner and personnel is that it offers a wide range of off road driving services (with your own vehicle) for us who wants something more than just camping in a beautiful area. They also have a workshop where they can fix something if it breaks during you off road trips, which i happened to specifically enjoy. Definitely coming back!
