I was booked in for a 50th birthday present. Due to bad weather in May, we re-arranged for June and just got back from an amazing, full on experience with the ower. Can't rate the service high enough - such a smooth take off, flight and finished up with an upright landing. Shared the basket with 3 other couples and there was non-stop chat abouut how perfect it was. Taking part in getting everything ready and helping put it away at the end of the day just added extras to it all. Your help is not expected, but always welcome. If you want a fantastic trip, I can't see why you would not give them a go.
Probably wise not to pay in advance with this company. My wife bought me in June 2017 a balloon flight with this company. Due to bad autumn weather and a close family member being diagnosed with a terminal illness we did not make a booking until June this year. The certificate is valid for 12 months. The time slot we booked earlier this month was cancelled by the company today due to bad weather. We then received a curt text saying ead our terms and conditions it will cost you another 100 to take a flight\ - she had already paid 250 and she had telephoned the owner earlier in the year to apologise for the late booking and explained the circumstances. I was disappointed by the money grabbing attitude of this company and would not want to be in a balloon basket with anyone from the company because they may skimp on safety as well as taking advantage of a family with a close member near to death. Shabby and shoddy treatment they should be ashamed.
