we were not at all disappointed. After an email exchange to confirm opening times (they were going away for a short break) we were warmly welcomed. A very short menu always promises fine food and this was no exception. Everything was superb,, very tasty and interesting combinations. Definitely visit and we'll definitely be back!

The best meal in Bordeaux, somewhat ironic that it was Italian and not French. We were only visiting for a few days so we wanted each meal to be special. Dinner here was fantastic. It is a small restaurant by a husband wife team of owners— with the kitchen run by the husband, and front of house by the wife Alice. She speaks excellent English with a bit of an accent but is very thoughtful and thorough. Her husband is Venetian. She explained the menu items for 10 mins, and she is clearly passionate about the food, which is good because her husband probably spent all day preparing for the dinner service! Reservations are a must and highly recommended.

A charming, small restaurant in the medieval section of Bordeaux. Fantastic food, all home made. Portions are generous and beautifully presented. Very affordable prices for the 3 course menu. Because it is a tiny place, there are only 2 choices for each course( but in our experience both options were delicious). The husband and wife duo who run this restaurant clearly care about quality and about fresh ingredients. The olive oil comes from his uncle’s farm in Italy!

Absolutely amazing! Truly a culinary experience in the heart of Bordeaux. The waitress is very experienced and tentative. The menu courses are elegantly presented and thoughtfully composed. Will go back again!

This place is a gem. There are only a few table so it is best to book in advance. We had a great experience. Most of the ingredients come from Italia, and so does the chef (and he's good!). The waitress is very professional and warm and she knows her stuff (she suggested a biodynamic white whine from the Frioul to go with the food and that was a killer). We had a 6 services diner for less than 50. Highly recommended!

Its amazing that we had one of the best Italian dinners in Bordeaux. The passion, skill and the ingrediantes really makes the difference and makes this restaurants the best we experienced here in Bordeaux. The consistent stream of good reviews don’t happen without a reason. I highly recommend this place.

I had already oggled the restaurant as each time I walked by it had the \FULLY BOOKED\ sign, so when I was taken for surprise for my birthday I was thrilled. My partner had apparently booked two months in advance, and it is understandable seen how affordable and delicious the restaurant is! It is also small, so its pretty intimate and with a \special\ feeling. All the dishes had top notch ingredients and were great Italian reinterpretations, very modern and with a beautiful presentation. Each of them is explained in detail by the extremely friendly waitress/owner.
