I visited Bordeaux back in May 2019, and going through my pictures I just remembered the amazing experience that I had at L’Entrecote. Everything was so delicious and amazing. After two years my mouth still gets watery thinking about it . Highly recommended!!!

The queue was long when we arrived, stood for an hour before getting a table, but well worth the wait. Loved the fact that there was no menu, all we got asked was how we’d like our meat cooked. Although choosing different temperatures (medium & well done), both served in one dish with a delicious sauce, and perfectly cooked. The added bonus of bottomless frites doesn’t disappoint. Would highly recommend.

Always great to return to this restaurant when visiting Bordeaux. The meat, fries and special sauce are just out of this world good. It's defenitly not fine dining, but still a favorite of ours !

There's only one menu, steak with french fries and an amazing butter sauce. If you like meat, it's the place to be. Only for 19.50 with a salad, enough food for the price, and also the quality is awesome. They only ask for the cooking type. Go there, and be happy

Really tender steak with a delicious butter sauce topped off with unlimited French fries. The house red wine was also quite good. The restaurant doesn’t take reservations so would also recommend going early as the lines can get quite long. Highly recommend if you’re in Bordeaux!

Got there at 8pm, waited about 45 minutes, before we were seated at a table. Standard menu for 19.50 - steak and free flow fries! Was served a salad first, with walnuts, followed by the waitress asking how well we would like our steak. Steak was really good, fries were amazing and crispy!

Really good steak, one of the best I’ve had in Europe, in terms of it being really tender- I got medium rare. The sauce was good and made the meat and fries not cloy (I can get sick from too much meat or too oily food so the sauce is slightly tart to balance the oil and meat, it’s all good) fries were freshly made as well. I had one round of refills for my fries (YAY!). There was a tray for the meat and sauce to be kept warm while we were eating the steak too! We went at about 8.10pm and were seated at 8.45pm for a table for 2. Turnover was really quick, and we were seated quickly, staff were attentive and nice too! Oh it was 19.50 per person and it comes with salad (greens with walnuts), bread and steak and fries! Really worth the money!

It is a different taste of meat. The sauce is very satisfying. You should go around 19.00 for not to wait on the line.
