Awesome climbing gym and restaurant for after climbing. Good route setting and nice varied climbs.the only downside for me was no loose chalk but I understand why.

Extremely nice, organized and welcoming staff, amazing restaurant and bar with great food & drinks choices, and real nice bouldering gym with changing rooms, musculation/yoga room, children walls/activities and a sauna! A few suggestions: add the color codes for route difficulty in 1 or 2 spots WITHIN the gym so that they're easily visible, precise that the sauna is coed on the door(s) leading to it, add a few hooks to the wooden beams in the changing rooms for comfort, and I have also heard of climbers complaining about some of the shirtless guys, so maybe ask for full attire only in the climbing area?

The setting is on point, the climbers are very friendly, the beer and food at the restaurant are delicious! The staff are very welcoming and friendly. The gym is well connected by tram to the city center and Arkose offers a competitive happy hour pricing for climbing early or late. I highly recommend a visit;

A really good bouldering gym, with good managed space . The place is charming with its old structure and is very welcoming. The gym is great for training, a play ground for climbers. If you take a 10 entries it will cost you around 6 euros by training. People are awesome, go without fear !

Thank you Arkose for being open so late and during non lunch hours!! Its ridiculous to be in 2019 in a big city like bordeaux and still see archaic lunch hours with kitchen closed after 2pm and until 5 or sometimes 7pm!! Unless your stomach is on French schedule (which as a french citizen mine never adapted anyways!) then this place is for you! And they are actually delicious too. Check it out!

I went there to enjoy a good brunch and was not disappointed. Food is excellent and in quantity. Everybody is smilling. Just go there!
