Part of the Adega de Borba...renovated in the last couple of years, well done and spacious inside...the waiter was friendly and helpful, given we’re English who don’t speak Portuguese. We ordered 2 starters to share, a mixed cured meat platter and a cheese, only a few euros each. And then went for the recommended Joaquinzinhos fritos (small, fried fish carapau, eat them whole), with tomato bread. And the Alentejano black pork...this has made me fall in love with pork again, after years of eating badly cooked pork (in good restaurants)- i had to eat it ALL...with a lovely (again recommended) bottle of white wine, at 6 euros, and a digestif at the end, the total bill was 45euros. It was delightful- go, go, go!

We arrived after 3pm and yet they still served lunch to us (unlike O Canhoto around the corner) so we were grateful for that. As in most restaurants, this meal began with bread and olives, but these olives were wonderfully bitter and not fully brined yet. I ate what I think was leg of baby lamb, braised in a Madeira sauce. We also had a traditional cod dish witch is served in a terra cotta roofing tile. Large portions of delicious healthy food served by gracious hosts in this down-to-earth family-run establishment at very reasonable prices. We bought a bottle there from a nearby winery to drink with our meal, and were treated to a special shot afterwards on the house. We will not forget this place!

A comida e espectacular adorei, o pessoal de mesa super atentos sempre muito simpáticos e educados os meus parabens tanto a cozinha como a todos trabalhadores. Um lugar sem duvida que voltarei sempre o sitio en sí muito tranquilo e limpo agradavel 100% .
Muy recomendable. Me encanta el gazpacho con carapaos, el ensopado de borrego, la sopa de tomate, el naco de vitela,... Todo. Y el vino también.
Muito boa a comida. Muito boas as sobremesas e o vinho nem se fala. Tudo excelente.
Restaurante bastante espaçoso com staff muito simpático e atencioso. As doses são generosas tendo em conta a qualidade e o preço. Aconselho as Queixadas . Sobremesas estavam divinais e o miminho no final foi a cereja em cima do bolo . Vou certamente voltar.
