Recommended by usual garage as they were booked. I needed to chase them a lot, unreliable as did not show up at home in time as per agreement. Asked them to assess if the car was worth saving, charged 2h of labour for changing the car battery and belt (thou estimated 1h before ). 4 days later exhaust pipe fell. After many phone calls to garage and halfords for the old (1 y old battery ) halfords confirms my old battery (1y) is just fine thou garage says it is faulty and charged it 2x but doesnt hold. Managed to squeeze in to my usual garage for diagnostics to learn that the car needs to be taken to scrapyard asap with a huge amount of faults running on it. AND oil leaking into water tank (the residue should have been spotted by a good eye). I have lost 2 weeks and nearly 190 on absolutely nothing as the car needed to go in first instance -if I would have known. The batteries were swapped back by the garage and they refunded their sold battery. It is sad that one cannot gave a reliable, professional service without being ripped off.
