The food lovely! The Roasted vegetables pasta bake was amazing. My mum had a caramel shortbread and she said that was lovely! Tempted by the meringue

Central location in town. Nicely laid out & always clean & tidy. Staff always friendly. Large menu & selection of cakes however I would say it’s very expensive. Last week I paid 6.50 for coffee & cake so nice place to go for a treat.
Went for lunch with ex-step mother-in-law and daughter for lunch. I didn’t try the chocolates but they looked very good, as did the large selection of cakes. I had the steak pie with new potatoes and veg and it was delicious. Nice and hot and just like home made. A main course was 10.95 which is a bit pricey but well worth it. For another 3 you could add a starter or dessert which made it good value, but I was full. The decor is a little old fashioned, but the place was clean and the staff were very friendly. Nice to find an independent place to eat in a world of fast food chains. Central location too. Would definitely recommend
