Restoration made the building spacious bright and cheerful making food and service feel better
Love coming here to meet friends and the service is always lovely upstairs at the bistro. However, twice now my steak has been very disappointing and at 30 dollars should be top quality and not dry and stringy. The prawn pizza was also very disappointing with little topping and little flavour. Please rectify this, my friends and I all had a bad steak last night again and we don't want to stop coming there because we honestly love the atmosphere and feel it's important support local cubs, but some of the food needs improving, please!
From when my wife and I walked in we were greeted with a warm and friendly reception by the doorman who assisted me with signing in and my wife who was renewing her membership was assisted by the female staff member Carmel who was on reception who helped my wife was amazing ,very helpful,friendly and nothing was too difficult, there should be more people like her. we had lunch in the bistro we both ordered fish and chips and we weren’t disappointed the food was amazing and inexpensive ,compliments to the duty chef. the wait staff were very friendly and very attentive great club will definitely be coming here more often
Visited the Bistro for dinner. Not a great experience - service lacking, no specials available after only being open for an hour, severely reduced menu options and expensive prices! Would definitely think twice before revisiting.
Went to have a look at the "new" ground floor but couldn't really be bothered after being overcome by cigarette smoke at the Spring Street entrance while using the QR log in. Does the club not notice or do they not care? Why put a smoking area opening onto that area?
