5* I had laser eye surgery nearly 10 years ago and still remember the day. Miracle from having glasses as a youngster, contact lenses after for many years, then seeing 20/20 vision the same day! Now turned 50 and my distance vision is still 20/20! Excellent service. Great Customer Service. Receptionist Elaine is Lovely! I'd been thinking about laser eye surgery for a while and finally got the confidence to look into it. Visualase was recommended to me by a friend and it was recommended to her by 3 separate friends so I felt comfortable having a consultation with them. I had a consultation with another well known company previous to meeting with them and I can honestly say they were heads and shoulders above them. Everyone you come into contact with are friendly and down to earth and have your best interest at heart. The receptionist is amazing (sorry I'm terrible with names). She makes you feel at ease and answered all my questions. From start to finish the service is amazing and I can't recommend them enough. The day after my eye surgery, I had my check up and I had eagle vision....I didn't know you could get that! Amazing staff, amazing procedure and amazing result. Thank you!
How i wish i had not had this surgery. I now suffer from night blindness. I have head aches in any bright light. Have halos in and double vision. My sight is now 10x worse than it was before. The surgeon was too pre occupied when doing the surgery with flirting with the young nurse.
If you are thinking of getting eye laser surgery done, this is the place to go. I have many people around me recommending this place and finally after a few years of considering it I plucked up the courage and book in a consultation. The process was brilliant from start to finish and they take the time to answer any questions you may have. Always easy to get in touch with them over the phone too. Very friendly at reception. After a couple of check ups I finally had the procedure done in January 2020. I was quite scared but the nurses and Dr. Mathai made me feel at ease and I came out thinking, wow that wasnt bad at all. The procedure isnt painful at all, your eyes just feel uncomfortable after. I was amazed by the results. I had almost -7 in both eyes and 24hrs after the treatment I had 20/20 vision. Absolutely incredible. Thank you to everyone at Visualase and Cloughs!
I walked in with severe pain after getting hot metal in my eye at work hoping to get a quick checkup and was told they couldn't even do a quick check up despite how much pain I am in. As a medical professional they had a duty of care to help me and because they wasn't making any profit they wouldn't even stand up to take a quick look and give advice on what to do. Really wouldn't recommend these people as I'm now stuck at work for the rest of the day with my eye burning and no medical advice even from professional.
