Part of greenhouse direct group. I have placed 3 orders with elite so far equipping my new greenhouse with the best stagging and work station. My last order I was sent the wrong stagging but within hours of reporting the matter to elite they quickly replaced the wrong items by delivery of their own lorries. First class greenhouse specialist. Highly recommended.

These greenhouses are not at all easy to assemble. The packages contain an unexpectedly large number of pieces, some of which could easily have been pre-assembled given that delivery is undertaken by the company’s own transport rather than a third party. The instruction manual is far from clearly worded and the videos on the Elite website are presented at such speed that they are difficult to follow. I had to telephone the company to seek advice on three occasions and received not entirely helpful advice. Eventually I contacted a local company who deal with Elite Greenhouses and they gave me the contact details of a man who assembles greenhouses for them. He, without much sense of humour, said these products are quite straightforward to put up when you have done the first 50. I would not recommend any ‘amateur’ to purchase from Elite.

Incompetent and poor customer service. Ordered a small streamline in June, with powder coating. 12 weeks leadtime. Prepped area and laid slab base. Got a delivery date just under the 12 weeks. The day before delivery they discovered it had not been painted! Profuse apologies, will put it back in the line as priority, now due potentially end October!! If that's their idea of priority I don't know what outine\ would be. Could mean Nov assembly when weather has changed in our elevated location. Wouldn't budge on the delay. No offer of a small gesture of compo, freebie etc. So we've cancelled the order, and will try again next year. Will look at other makes but the Streamline did fit the bill. Will see. Had already d/ the assembly pdf and could well understand the comments of others re the clarity of the instructions. If only we'd had the chance of using them.

Just built my Elite Craftsman and am delighted with the build and product quality. I was told the delivery to me in Morpeth would be 22 weeks and it arrived just as promised. The aluminium profiles are of a better strength than my old greenhouse which this one replaces. The bar cappings finish the job beautifully. Thank you Elite !

Elite Streamline 5 x 6 ft Greenhouse with Elite Standard Rainwater Kit and Elite 100 Litre Water Barrel and Stand A quality product once you've succeeded in erecting it. I imagine that the instructions started out as absolutely impossible to follow and have now evolved to the point of being almost impossible to follow. Constructing it was like being presented with a detective riddle to solve combined with a giant, complex, 3 dimensional meccano puzzle. It took me the best part of 3 days. The instructions are riddled with many omissions and errors. The parts list is incomplete as it misses off the variety of small nuts, bolts and screws,. All the parts should have a code referred to in the instructions so you know exactly which part to use and when. As I progressed through the rabbit hole of construction I was convinced that something would be missing. That did not happen until I got to the rainwater kit at the end (see below). Instead I ended up with a large quantity of excess glazing and fixings. Good for spares but wasteful for the manufacturer. Overall it was satisfying (I like puzzles) because the product is incredibly precisely machined and miraculously came together to be sturdy and good looking. However, there were two manufacturing inaccuracies. One slot that had not been completely cut that I had to finish off with a hacksaw, and the holes for the door wheels are not quite aligned so the doors don't hang quite straight. Elite need to get some inexperienced people into their factory to construct one in order to help pick up all of the problems and thoroughly rewrite the instruction manual. If you do order a water butt and standard rainwater kit, please note that the standard rainwater kit is for a greenhouse without a butt. You need to order a kit suitable for the butt. To the supplier's credit (Gardensite) they sent me the replacement kit free of charge.
