I called bolton spares and repairs this morning and as I was desperate (the wife was in my ear as needed to wash) they managed to squeeze me in as one of their engineers was local to me. Yes there was a call out charge, but it was fair, all businesses have core costs. The engineer ( rob was his name, very friendly, chatty and reassuring) called 11.20 a.m, quickly diagnosed a reasonable 68 to repair the machine, and had the part on his van stock and was able to complete the repair within 30 minutes, all put back together, refitted, and up and running. One fixed machine, one happy wife and a lockdown afternoon of no nagging lol. Rob didn't hang around, he was already in his way to his next job. Excellent job done, fair price, very quickly... no complaints here,!

A Big Thumbs Up to Bolton Spares and Repairs they are an outstanding company, we had been looking around for a good gas cooker, yes we had been to currys, argos, ect and found that there sales men had no idea what they was talking about, so I looked at local company's independent from the big chains, we looked at Bolton Spares and Repairs, they was courteous and knowledgeable, so we purchased a new hotpoint gas cooker with fitting and my old cooker taken away, now not only was they cheaper than the big chains our new cooker was delivered and fitted the day after, now that is service, no waiting around for weeks, the fitter was lovely and chatty and he cared, nothing was to much trouble, he set the cooker up, made sure it was safe and at the right height and level, we are delighted, I can honestly say I will recommend these guys to anyone. A very happy customer

Cannot recommend BSS highly enough, fitted a dishwasher for my Son 21 miles away, polite and professional from first contacting the store to completing the fitting, also they were spot on the appointment time even though it was thick with snow on the journey to destination. Thank you, will definitely use again.

My oven's thermostat dial (to simultaneously turn the oven on/off and control the temperature) came off and wouldn't latch to control the Oven so it became unusable in a few days. I got in touch with this company, they arrived when agreed when my Oven became worse (the dial no longer could be latched on) so I never had to go without an oven. It took this company 5 minutes if that, very professional and friendly. Would highly recommend any services they provide. A.
