Drinks were good, lobster pop tart was definitely different but good. The main dish took over a hour after our app was delivered though. We had the chicken and the halibut dinners. Both were very dry, but the side of mashed potatoes, green beans, and mushroom risotto were all very good. When we were checked on, by I assume the owner or manager, they did take half off our main entrees once they were told of the problems. Overall the place is nice, prices were high for the portions, and the food is ok.
They have great atmosphere wonderful food and drinks! We go to celebrate special events and date night. It's always delicious.

We have eaten here 3 times. The lobster tart is fantastic! Had halibut and pesto risotto last night. Husband an egg noodle beef dish. What could have been so-so dishes elsewhere were unique and elegant. Portions perfect, staff attentive and this restaurant brings fun and class to old Algonquin. We are becoming repeat patrons. Go here for date night or when company comes to town!
