A lovely place to go walking, easy access great for families and like myself a newbie rambler.. You can stick to the paths that take you around the clough or walk right into the wooded area and take the path that leads you onto the well trodden path, it's just lovely and gives you the feeling your far away from the busy inner city. There is a very large pond with ducks, Canadian geese and my favourite coots there is also heron but I've never been lucky enough to spot it or the kingfisher . I love it here and would highly recommend it for a nice walk.

Great place to just go for a walk or run. Some beautiful scenery and little creatures
Woods, water and green! A good spot for running and walking (with or without dogs). A lovely cafe by the lake to enjoy a drink afterwards.
Beautiful regardless of the season. Great place for long walks with pets.
Nice variety of wildlife however not as well maintained as Heaton Park or other big parks in Manchester. Could do with some improvement such as more bins and litter picking.
