Wow, just wow! We absolutely loved our dinner, from the first minute to the last! The quality of the food was splendid (might have been the best côte de boeuf I have ever tasted). Perfect service and fair prices. Don’t skip this restaurant if you are up for a true culinary experience!

Loved every course of the lunch tasting menu. Thoughtful food with surprising flavors. Friendly staff who let us make a substitution of one dish for dietary needs. Definitely a jewel in San Sebastián!
Went for the tasting menu and matched wines. Have been here previously a few years ago and I thought standards had slipped ever so slightly. That said, it was still very good and one of the best places in San Sebastian. Overall, I would have loved for more texture in some of the dishes. Also, incorporating some vegetables would have added texture and a new.dimension to some dishes, especially the hake dish and the steak dish which were crying out for something. The staff were also inconsistent in their approach. The table beside ours were provided with a lot more information on the various dishes and the wines. In contrast, we were provided with almost no information at all. I know it sounds as if I am being overly critical, but it is really only a sign of the high regard in which I hold this restaurant. I can highly recommend it and I will return.
We visited for dinner last week and had a great evening; one of the best meals out I've had in a long time. The location is right in the middle of the old town, service was very good and it was a great change to sit down after 2 nights crawling the excellent local pintxos bars. We ordered a mix of starters including a simple but delicious tomato salad, and the iberico ham which they add a touch of cinema to by crushing the ham on top of the crisp bread when bringing it to your table. The slow cooked eggs were phenomanal. We enjoyed the hake and pork for our mains, followed by a delicious cheese plate which came complete with a ringing cow bell to top off the night! Staff were all really friendly and ambience in the restaurant was spot on. Would recommend to anyone looking for a delicious meal in San Sebastian.
Everything here is great. Lovely servers and comfortable atmosphere. Geeat place to cool down on a hot day.
