I tried Bodacious for the 1st time in Sulphur Springs and been hooked ever since. The ribs are to absolutely die for. The joint could use a little update and brighten the place up, but the food is worth every penny! Cole slaw, mac n cheese, baked potato are all delicious. My only request would be to add fried okra to the menu. Bodacious is extremely good food for the money, you will be happy.
Extra friendly, super delicious. Meat was tender, Moist, and full of flavor. Loved the desserts too: pumpkin pie, pecan pie, banana pudding. I was tempted to buy other flavors to try them too.
Wow, I'm glad I gave this place a try. This is the kind of BBQ place I like and expect to find in TX. Counter order, and the staff is great. I tried the brisket and sausage dinner with all of the trimmings. I also grabbed a baked potato and mac and cheese to round out the dinner. Brisket is served fatty or lean, and of course I went with the fatty. It was incredible, juicy, and smoked to perfection. Sausage was also great. Dinner was served with all the trimmings and sauce. However, the meat is so good, no sauce is required. This place is a must stop when you are in the area.
Delicious food and outstanding customer service! The staff is friendly and professional and the food is always served hot. We’ve used this location twice for catering and they didn’t disappoint. Our first event was a full Thanksgiving cater for about 40 people. The manager went above and beyond to ensure our event was a success. We recently asked for help with a small Sunday event. They are closed Sundays so they fully prepped & cooled the meat on Saturday. I picked it up Saturday evening and they included detailed instructions for rehearing, plus extra sauce. They also placed a layer of skin over the meat to prevent it from drying out while reheating. The food was PERFECT after following their instructions! We simply reheated, pulled off the insulation layer, and served. We will continue to use them for our barbecue needs!
