Thank goodness we found Dr Wiers!! After several ER visits, x-rays and even an appointment with a pediatric orthopedic specialist, it was Dr. Wiers who recognized the amount of pain and distress my son was experiencing and LISTENED to what I was telling her. She immediately developed a treatment plan and ordered diagnostic imagining in order to determine the severity of his condition. As a result, the next day he was hospitalized because his pain could not be managed on an outpatient basis. Dr Wiers came to see us every day and coordinated all of his care from 6 different specialties. I am so thankful she and Michelle are caring for my son.

If seeking a rheumatologist doctor that does not address issues at hand with a clear coarse of action for improvement and allows test results to escalate in wrong direction for example High blood pressure, anemia, protein in urine furthering the decay of health worsening then kristina weirs is a proper fit. In conclusion, she proved to be Irresponsible with the handling of test results with no clear action of addressing issues to prevent the decay of health. In addition, she sounds as a person who would benefit from speech therapy and her assistant Michelle would benefit a course in customer service skills.

I have known Kristina personally and professionally for over 11 years. She has referred me many clients over the years for mental health counseling and the feedback I have always received from these clients about their treatment and work with Kristina has been positive. I trust her professional judgement and know she is highly competent, professional and effective at what she does.

Dr. Wiers-Shamir is an awesome doctor! She explains well and suggests effective treatment. My daughter is so much better now that her symptoms are better controlled.

This woman tries to medicate as much as possible to make money. She has ZERO bed side manner. she told my YOUNG daughter she may go blind and not be able to walk by the time she is a teenager if we didn't put her on meds. Thankfully we educated ourselves and sought other opinions. The best thing we ever did. Sadly patients that get put on these meds at such a young age due to these horrible doctors like Dr Wiers end up with more severe health issues in the long run. Do NOT trust her.

She was kind and listened to my concerns and answered questions in a way I could understand.

I was 13 years old when I came to see her for the first time. I had a diagnosis for fibromyalgia, A LOT of pain, and little hope left. My previous doctors were quick to dismiss me, and I was starting to give up looking for an answer. She immediately noticed the tiny details other doctors never bothered to look close enough to see. My soft skin, abnormal scarring, hypermobile joints. I left that day with an answer. I had a clinical diagnosis for Ehlers Danlos Syndrome. Suddenly, with a community to support me, the pain became a little bit more bearable. As I get older and develop comorbid conditions related to EDS I feel blessed that I was diagnosed so young. I can not thank you enough. You remind me that caring physicians really do exist. You do so much for the young members of the chronically ill community, and we appreciate you!
