Upon joining the club this past year, we were immediately welcomed by the staff and membership. From day one, the golf pros and members included us in Tournaments and the Men’s and Ladies’ Golf Association. We have made many friends during Covid. Who would have thought that possible? We have enjoyed the pool and patio dining, and live music taking place outside. We could not be happier with our choice to join Boca Lago Golf and Country Club.

I'm not a planner so it was important to us to find a venue that covered as much as possible. Boca Lago was by far the nicest venue we saw. The ballroom is beautiful and really doesn't need any decoration at all. Jen, the event coordinator helped with everything leading up to, during and after the wedding. She responded quickly to every question and request we had, and was flexible with us when we needed to adjust things. Having someone to organize everything was probably the best part, since there were so many details I didn't even think of that needing to be taken care of and she and her team did all of it for us. Food, tables, chairs, linens, alcohol and cake were all included so we didn't have to search for vendors or organize them. We really wanted tacos and pasta since those our some of our favorite foods. Jen arranged our package to include those along with more traditional entrees and sides for our buffet. The food was fantastic and our guests continue to tell us how much they loved it and the wedding in general.

We recently had our boys B’Nai mitzvah at Boca Lago. When we had visited for the first time we were planning a large celebration, then Covid came. Throughout the ups and downs Jen the event planner was there for me. We ended up moving the entire event to the covered outside patio and had only 23 people. It was definitely not the day we envisioned however it was PERFECT! Everyone raved about how delicious the food was. Jen was with me every step as our plans were constantly changing and was so helpful throughout. Everything was set up perfectly. I would highly recommend having an event at Boca Lago.
