Good spot. I just wish everyone would use their common sense and do all the preparation off the ramp, not on it.
Pretty nice view, good for ice fishing
There used to be only two people to help manage this very busy launch's traffic on summer weekends. Right downtown at the main intersection of two very busy streets filled with tourists, accidents occasionally happened and tempers often flared The new mayor recognizes the importance of safety at a busy downtown boat ramp and now the town has a Harbor Master to manage the waterfront ... And that person has a team of friendly folks to assist in managing launch traffic and to help boat owners quickly get on and off the water. Normally, with my first mate driving our tow vehicle I power load and launch. When I am going out with my friends, that's not so easy, especially on the disembarking. The team of attendants at the ramp is fantastic, I can now back up, they'll grab my ropes and take care of tying my Cobalt off at the pier while I go park the rig. It's literally drop and run and it goes so smoothly! This has changed what was once a nightmare ramp into a dream. Thank you, Lake Geneva City Peeps!
Great ramp, great and friendly staff willing to awnser questions and help with the unloading process,
Best place to put in on Lake Geneva when town is not crowded. I don't recommend on the weekends for beginners or for those who are impatient.
