Lovely meal and great service. My daughter had a tasty vegan pad thai I had a veggie platter which was huge and varied and my husband had a chicken dish which he thoroughly enjoyed. The setting is beautiful looking out over the river. No alcohol indoors but you can have it on a terrace. They seem very willing to adjust dishes to suit individual tastes and dietary requirements. Will definitely recommend.

Travelled all the way from Cambridge, found this gem of a place, called to book a table and was amazed to find they had one, arranged for a table by the window with an amazing view, arrived saw the table right by the window with no one sitting on it, bit disappointed to be told that was not ours and was shown to another, a little disappointed Had scallops and beef cheeks for starters. Roast beef for main and creme brûlée For dessert with cocktails and wine. Staff friendly and helpful The only disappointing thing throughout our experience was that the table near the window which I was told over the phone I booked stayed empty the entirety of our meal Finished our meal with drinks outside at the best table on the deck so more than made up for not getting the table I booked We will be back Thank you for an amazing dining experience

Dugald spent months helping us plan a pre wedding meal. Every time regulations changed he was in touch to discuss plans with us. The food on the day was absolutely delicious and everyone loved it! Can't recommend boat brae enough!
Had breakfast here today food and service was great lovely decor really nice, out door seating looked fab
