A warm friendly welcome today. A very pleasant young man greeting us with a lovely smile & a friendly manner. His politeness was impeccable considering he was rushed off his feet. Nothing was too much trouble. I would recommend the Board Inn, dining in with great food & lovely atmosphere. Thank you

Friendly & very accomodating staff, when we just showed up this evening....Lovely food, something for everyone on the menu. I can only imagine what the Lamb Shank would've been like but sadly they were all gone this evening. However Creamy Garlic Mushrooms followed by the 10z Rump that was cooked to perfection for me (Med Rare), it was delicious! Garlic Bread was tasty and fresh, Sausage and mash was enjoyed as was the Chicken Balti...Specials board Dessert was a real treat and I had to take a chocolate fudge cake away with me....5 min drive from Skipsea Sands Holiday Park, nice beer garden, restaurant & smaller snug bar areas. Very reasonably priced and then with the added eating out discount an all round fab place to enjoy a family meal. Thank you.
Really disappointed we visited this eatery last year and it was one of the best places we had eaten. We had the same meal as last year steak pie the pastry was solid there was 4 people ordered this and we did not eat the pastry the chips where like they had been warmed up they was soggy. Prawn cocktails for starters came on warm plated not sure whats happening there. Child's meal was so dry my son could not eat it we did get a refund for this meal. All the food was like it was kept under hot lights and had dried up. The service from staff was faultless really nice people it was the quality off the food I will not be going back in the future which is a shame as it was a good quality place eat previous.

Have been before and meals were great but this time very disappointed, didn't enjoy any of our choices. Think maybe they were overwhelmed with busyness because of 50%deal?staff were friendly and efficient.
