started here with a referral for a lipoma on my back, NHS backed. They made me wait 9 months before bringing me back in, All sorted then 7 days before op they told me if anything happened during anaesthetic they didn't have the expertise to deal with. This was despite going through everything with the nurse 7 days previously (Ros?). absolutely disgusting service and the NHS should not be using. May be ok for cosmetic procedures but if your health depends on it avoid, avoid avoid. Clowns. They have now added their generic response below. These people had my notes for 8 months due to the wait in the covid times, they chose to read them 1 week before my operation... They now say they are concerned:) they need to be on the other side of such poor treatment, thats real concern. As always, useless

Had a great experience from consult to pre op tests. Admission was polite fast and very caring .Every part of of what my operation entailed was explained clearly. The theatre staff were kind and friendly putting me at total ease. Operation was perfect as was all the aftercare. The nurses physio and porters were brill. The food was superb as were the catering staff as a whole .The cleaning staff were great and very friendly. Discharge was fast caring and if i had any concerns on returning home was given a direct ward phone number to call.The whole team made my surgery a pleasure as much as possible ,Well Done Beardwood Hospital.
Excellent hospital, consultants and attentive caring staff. All my outpatient (Nhs) experiences have been excellent. Highly recommend.
Amazing, caring staff. My husband is having chemo here instead of having to travel further to Burnley. The quality of the care he has received is so good and he would recommend the place to anyone.
Meant to receive a long awaiting call for consultation and further appointment. The appointment letter was sent with time of call ( Can not attend hospital due to COVID) was around 2pm. I waited till 4pm but no call recived. I then called the switchboard line and ever since, next day now and I called repeatedly, left messages to get an update , requesting, why I was not contacted ? each time , there is nothing but a computerized voicemail asking to leave details and some one wil get back asap. Until today no contact. Oh yes if you call there \Paying A Bill\ line. You will hear a happy voice of a fellow human with very very warm welcome :) You do the math. Not happy with a hospital who offer you a paradise over the phone (While You Wait) Only payment line has a happy ending. SHAME !
