One of those stores you expect to only store tat but full of surprises. Very good for pet stuff and certain foods and some stuff excellent quality.

It's OK because it is full of everyday food and other produce at very good prices. But once you enter it is not so easy to leave. Customers are required to follow a set route before being able to find the exit.

My first time in this store and I loved it! I was looking for garden waste bags, wood and kindling but was surprised at how big the store was and at the variety of products they stock. The best thing though, was how friendly and helpful the staff were; one took time to show me where the refuse bags were; another helped me with my stuff while I got a trolley and another ran out of the store after me with my keys which I had left at the checkout. The products are very reasonably priced too. I will definitely visit this store again.

I visited during the lockdown and I did expect it to be busy but I only needed a few bits so I didnt think it would be that bad. However how wrong was I too many people are allowed in the shop at once absolute chaos queues going down each aisle meaning people trying to do their shopping are squeezing past no social distancing at all! After finally reaching the till I was then moved to another queue behind someone with a trolley full meaning I had to wait even longer! Either go really early in the hope that its quiet or avoid!!

Went to B&M today and in the 'last chance reduced section' there was just 1 single curtain on its own in a plastic bag that said reduced to 6 on it (i thought it had obviously been reduced because it was just a single curtain instead of a pair, so i was happy to buy it as i only needed a single curtain for a small window at home.) I went to the check out with it and the lovely girl who served me looked a bit confused so she there for called for who appeared to be the manager. The manager came down and straight away said to her colleague 'i was on the top floor ladder when you rang the buzzer! (she said in a huff)' she then carried on her unessisary rudeness and basically accused me and my sister of putting the single curtain in the reduced section on purpose to make it cheaper! She was saying things like ' that DEFINITELY wasnt in the reduced section!! 'and kept repeating what she'd said and looking at us funny and carried on with backchat. Me and my sister put her in her place and explained we didn't do it but she still acted like we did. Her attitude was appalling actually seeing as me and my sister had just spent about 150 in her shop! The woman/manager had dark shoulder length hair, was average build & seems stuck up. Someone needs to have a word. Never had a problem in here before as all they checkout staff are always so lovely and friendly. I haven't t seen this 'manager' looking person before...
