Stunning food. Fantastic atmosphere. Beyond friendly staff. I had a fillet steak and it had to be one of the tastiest Steaks I've ever had. he creamed leek and bacon side was to die for and the Mac and cheese was delicious! Would go back in a heart beat!

Fabulous meal tonight at Blocks. The steak was absolutely melt-in-your-mouth. We thought the meal was very reasonably priced, fillet steak with two free sides and a free sauce!! Everything was served hot, on a hot plate. Lovely selection of wines, I couldn't choose so the chap at the bar made a good recommendation. The staff were very attentive and all the tables were well spaced out with social-distancing. We have been to Blocks many times before, we have never been disappointed with our meals. We look forward to returning after lockdown 2...

I came here last week with my family. It was my second time at Blocks Steakhouse and we had a wonderful evening. Our server was very friendly and welcoming, and made sure we had everything we needed. I ordered 8oz fillet steak with teriyaki sauce, sweet potato bites and creamy leeks and bacon and all was delicious! Best steak I've had to be honest. I will absolutely return!

Best steak we have ever had! This will be our 3rd visit to this steakhouse in Cockermouth. Reasonable price for a meal out and lovely service ️ always feel welcome every time we visit.

One of the nicest steaks I’ve had in a while. Staff are really nice and friendly, and generous portions really hitting the spot! We stayed for the weekend in nearby Buttermere and will recommended booking this restaurant if you are able to!
