I have worked with Block1 Design on a number of projects now. I have always found Justin and Laura to be very easy to work with, knowledgeable and involved in our projects at a very hands on level. Working with designers isn't always a straight forward thing but working with B1D I have found the whole process to be effortless and stress free. I would have no issue recommending them to any of my contacts.

I had seen some of their work online and it looked outstanding. I then contacted this company a few years ago for a small job and they were quite good. We just used them this year to help design a small kiosk inside a supermarket. They came down and spent little to no time taking their measurements then they handed the job over to one of their interns (who has subsequently been sacked) because they were too busy on \bigger\ jobs. What we ended up with (after paying 4.5k) was drawings that were full of mistakes. When the builders came down and discovered this, we asked them how this could be? They told us \drawings are never meant to be perfect they always need to be amended after the builders begin work\! Trouble is, they never amended them after that, so we had an absolute nightmare, having to take new measurements and cut down a lot of the spec. What's worse is they weren't even present on site to help with this, they came to the first two weekly site meetings of what should have been 4 weekly site meetings. After we complained they got very defensive about their work and even denied that the drawings were wrong!! I've given a 1 star rating because zero wasn't an option. I would never use these guys again and wouldn't recommend them to anyone else.
Save your money and avoid avoid avoid! Rude and disorganised are the nicest things I have to say about this design company.
