Visited Bliss Cafe in Thirsk several times now and it was very popular. Loved it - the coffee is excellent, we've had crumpets there and toast and they were delicious and all the food looked amazing and they had quite an extensive menu. The staff were very pleasant, friendly and helpful, despite the fact they were run off their feet. Will definitely go again. Dogs are allowed and are given s bowl of sliced sausage for free.
Well done to Jacqui and the team in producing a warm welcome atmosphere, along with wholesome and tasty food. The scone that I had was moist, delicious and the size of a house brick. Great value for money, well worth a visit.
First time here and agree wholeheartedly with David Bridgewater's review. This is such a friendly, relaxed and happy efuelling point\. Various gluten free options. Happy staff. Dog friendly. Clean loo. Only vaguely -ve point, my raspberry scone came with strawberry jam. Wasn't an issue, just felt it was a bit incongruous but was still a fab scone! Café is brilliant for motorbike watching, is like being at Helmsley. Great motorbike triptych on the wall! We made 2 visits in one day. There is a chilled section offering ready made take out meals, great idea and proving very popular. Great place. Recommended on all accounts.
